‘Tis the season of gratitude and calm in the LBA Woods. Immerse yourself in the healing presence of the forest through the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing.” Your guide will be the fabulous Kathy Jacobson, long-time environmental educator, who has offered her popular forest-bathing walks in many of our local, county, and state parks as well as on private forest lands. This is not a hike, but a slow, sensory experience focused on reciprocity and deepening your relationship with the forest. Research shows that time among trees reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and enhances well-being.Bring your family and out-of-town guests!
Hot tea and cookies included. Space is limited. Please RSVP to the Friends of LBA Woods by Sunday, November 23rd to lbawoodsoly@gmail.com
